The new building will be used to house support service staff. With an increase in the area used for such personnel, it is highly likely that the company will be adding to it’s existing staff and there by increasing the number of new Austin jobs

The new support service structure is expected to be two stories and is simply waiting for the building permit to be passed. Once this has been acquired, the ground-breaking should occur shortly there after.
Jerry Frey, the senior vice president of the Austin branch of CB Richard Ellis, an international real estate services firm, refereed to the Apple’s proposed new building as ”a notable transaction.” He went on to say “it’s always a favorable event that a quality company like Apple is expanding. It’s a continued vote of confidence for the operations they have here in Austin.”
With the company likely to increase the available numbers of available Austin jobs, this is a great time for individuals to begin to polish their resumes so that they are able to have them in as soon as the positions become available. One would not want to miss out of a great opportunity simply because someone else managed to print their credentials first.
