Anyone looking for a career in Maryland may want to consider Baltimore medical jobs.
The Baltimore-Towson area’s education and health services industry employed 233,100 workers during September, according to the U.S. Department of Labor Bureau of Labor Statistics. This is up from 231,100 workers during August and a 1.7 percent increase from last year.
The Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation reports that the state’s healthcare industry has continued to grow since 2001, expanding at a rate of 10.2 percent through 2005. During that time, the industry added 23,912 jobs, accounting for a growth rate more than three times that of overall expansion in the state.
